About Caiman Landscape and More, INC

River fog is the first thing to arrive in Scappoose, sliding up off the bay and pooling in the low yards along Highway 30 until the sun finally clears the Tualatin hills. Caiman Landscape and More, INC likes that hour best: mowing while the blades are still silver with wet, then edging the walks so the line reads straight from the mailbox to the door. Between cuts there is fertilization to time with the rain, weed control to keep the old gravelly ground from going over to dandelion, and trimming along the fence lines a mower can never quite reach. Come October, when the maples on the side streets let go all at once, the leaves and yard debris get gathered and hauled and the property is handed back in order. It is plain work, done for the pleasure of a place that looks cared for from the street.
