About Randy's Tree Services

On a clear winter morning Mount Hood stands over Sandy like something painted on, and the same corridor that gives the town that view also delivers the east wind and the ice. Freezing rain glazes the Douglas-fir and the alder until limbs come down in the dark, and by first light there are drives to open and crowns to make safe. Removals get planned against the slope and the weather, taken down in sections when a lot is tight. Pruning through the quieter months lightens the load a tree has to carry the next time the Gorge exhales. Storm cleanup finishes it — brush hauled, wood cut, the ground raked back to something you would walk barefoot on in July.
