About S & Q Landscape LLC

In May the valley fog lies low over south Salem until midmorning, and when it finally slides west toward the Eola Hills every blade on the block is beaded and bright. S & Q Landscape LLC works that hour — mowing, edging, string trimming, the walks blown clean before the sun reaches the driveway. There is a particular satisfaction in the seam where turf meets concrete on the quiet streets above Croisan Creek: cut once, cut straight, and it holds all week. When autumn turns the maples loose, the work shifts to leaf cleanup and bed tidying, hauling the drop away before the rain packs it flat into the grass. It is ordinary, useful work in a valley that grows grass seed for the rest of the world, done so a yard looks tended from the sidewalk.
