Up at Glide the Little River comes in head-on against the North Umpqua and the two of them turn hard together, which is a fair picture of what a well-cut lawn does at its boundaries. Turning Corners works the yards from that upriver country back down into Roseburg, and the corners are the point: the tight arc around a planting bed, the clean pivot at the end of a mowing line, the trimmed radius where turf meets gravel. Between those turns there is straightforward mowing, edging, weeding, and shrub trimming, plus the leaf and needle cleanup that a fir-shaded property demands every fall. Spring visits open the beds back up and get the grass moving again. Corners are where the care shows, so that is where the time goes.
