Simply Great Landscapes

About Simply Great Landscapes

Out toward Tenmile and Camas Valley, an April rain comes through in bands, and between them the pastures glow the kind of green that only happens for about six weeks a year. Simply Great Landscapes works that window hard: mowing before the grass gets ahead of itself, cutting fresh edges while the ground is soft, feeding and overseeding the lawn while it is hungry, and pulling weeds before they get a foothold in the beds. Later, when the valley dries and everything slows, the visits turn to keeping turf healthy in the heat and shrubs trimmed back from the house. Fall means leaves cleared and beds put in order for the rain. Simple work, done at the right time, which is most of the trick.
