Peridot Hardscapes

About Peridot Hardscapes

In late August the South Umpqua runs low and shows its gravel bars, and the whole valley goes the color of dry hay except for the lawns somebody is still looking after. Peridot Hardscapes tends those green rectangles through the hot end of the Roseburg summer, mowing high so the blades hold their color, trimming the edges tight, and clearing the beds of the weeds that thrive when nothing else does. Cuts stay on rhythm as the heat breaks, and the fall visits shift toward leaf clearing, bed cleanup, and shaping shrubs back before the rain sets in. Come the wet season, mowing picks back up whenever the grass insists, which around here it does. A yard held steady across the driest weeks is the plainest kind of proof there is.
