Wendels

About Wendels

By November the frost lingers in the shadow of a fence until nearly ten, and Prineville lawns take their last cut of the year with the Ochocos already white behind town. Wendels closes the season out — a final low mow, leaves and debris cleared off the turf, edges recut so nothing goes ragged over the cold months. Come spring the same yards get opened back up: dethatching, aeration, overseeding, and the first mowing once the ground will hold a wheel again. In between it is mowing, trimming, edging and weed control from thaw to freeze. A lawn put to bed properly wakes up better, and that is a good thing to be responsible for.
