Northwest Pro Lawn Care & Maintenance

About Northwest Pro Lawn Care & Maintenance

Balch Creek comes down out of Forest Park and slips underground at Thurman Street, and on a June morning the mist hangs in the firs above the neighborhood. Northwest Pro Lawn Care & Maintenance keeps the yards along that edge of the city, where a lawn is often a small bright clearing with a wall of green standing behind it. Shade and damp are the local problem, so the work leans on moss control, dethatching, aeration and overseeding as much as on the weekly mow, edge and trim. Needles and leaves come down here almost year-round, and clearing them off the turf never quite ends. Cut a shaded northwest lawn a little high, keep it fed, keep it clean, and it holds.
