About Key Concepts Landscape Maintenance

From Council Crest the valley lays itself out at dusk — five snow peaks on a clear evening and the city coming on in lights below. Key Concepts Landscape Maintenance works the hill roads under that view: Bridlemile, Hillsdale, the switchbacks off Terwilliger where lawns run sideways and every pass has to be planned. Mowing a slope is a craft of its own — direction, footing, blade height — and then edging the drive and trimming along the retaining walls until the line reads clean. The rest is maintenance taken in order: fertilizing, aeration and overseeding, moss control, hedge trimming, and needles and leaves cleared off the turf. Southwest Portland hides its yards in trees, and the work is making each one look like it wanted to be found.
