Ground up Services

About Ground up Services

On the first clear morning after a long wet stretch, Bull Mountain hands over the whole valley — Tigard laid out below, fog burning off Summer Creek, Mount Hood set out east as if placed there. Ground up Services mows the hillside lots and the flatter streets beneath them, taking the slope in level passes so the cut stays even instead of scalping the high side. Spring is aeration season on this ground: plugs pulled from soil packed flat by winter rain, seed worked down into the openings. Edges are squared along walks and drives, the trimmer takes what a mower cannot reach, and nothing is left scattered across the paths. Grass built from the ground up is the kind that holds through the dry months coming.
