Lantern Lawn Care

About Lantern Lawn Care

Late August dusk comes on slowly in Garden Home, porch lights waking one at a time along the Fanno Creek greenway while the day's heat lifts back out of the lawns. Lantern Lawn Care runs its mowing through these Raleigh Hills streets on a set schedule, so no yard gets away from itself during the weeks grass moves fastest. The border along the sidewalk gets recut until the summer's blur is gone, and string trimming finishes the fence bases, the posts, that awkward strip behind the garage. Every path is cleared of what the blades threw before the truck moves on. There is a plain pleasure in leaving a street where each lawn ends exactly where it should.
