About All Fresh All Clean

Noon in Multnomah Village is a slow hour — shade from the old firs along Capitol Highway, flat lawns behind the shopfronts, kids cutting through Gabriel Park with the sprinklers ticking. All Fresh All Clean mows those southwest blocks through July, when grass grows in short bursts between watering days and the cut has to be timed to the yard rather than the calendar. Edges are taken tight to the walkways and the brick borders that came with these houses, and the trimmer finishes the fence lines and the base of each tree. The last thing done is always the concrete: clippings off the drive, off the steps, out of the street gutter. A lawn should look put away, not merely cut.
