About Northwest Arbor-Culture Inc.

Newberg winters aren't white so much as green: rain most days, moss on the north side of everything, and lawns under the big Douglas firs that never quite go dormant. Northwest Arbor-Culture Inc. keeps those yards in hand through the wet stretch, mowing when the ground allows, edging back the creep along paths and beds, clearing the litter that comes down off Parrett Mountain in every windy week. It takes a light touch on soft ground and a good eye for when to stay off it entirely. The reward arrives on a rare clear January afternoon, when the light angles in low and a cut lawn glows the way only a wet-country lawn can.
