Up at McKenzie Bridge the water stays snowmelt cold all summer, and in the evening the air comes down off the Cascades and cools a yard the moment the sun clears the ridge. Tranquility Landscape works among cabins and homes tucked under hemlock and cedar, where lawns live in filtered light and need a different touch than an open field would. That means a higher cut, overseeding for shade, and trimming close around stumps, stone and root flare without scalping anything. Mowing stays on schedule through a long green season, edges are held where grass meets gravel drive, and needle litter is cleared before it mats. Standing back at dusk with the river audible through the trees, a well-kept upriver lawn feels like part of the forest rather than an argument with it.
