About Herrera's Enterprises

Lakeview sits high — up near five thousand feet, the Warner Mountains at its back and sagebrush country running out flat and pale toward Goose Lake. Green is not the default here; it is something people make and keep, one yard at a time, in a growing season squeezed between a late spring frost and an early autumn one. That makes every mowing count, and every trim along the walk, and every round of weeding before the cheatgrass gets ideas. Yard cleanups bracket the year — one in spring to clear what winter left behind, another in fall before the cold takes hold over the high desert for good. Under that big, hard-lit Lake County sky, a well-kept lawn stands out like a small act of stubborn hope.
