About All Adventure Lawn Care & More LLC

Mount Emily takes the sun a good while before the rest of La Grande does, so the valley floor spends its first hour in cool blue shadow. That is a fine time to mow — grass still stiff with dew, air still moving down out of the Blue Mountains. Between a late frost and a dry August, lawns here get one short, generous run at growing, and keeping pace means mowing on a rhythm rather than a whim. The work is mowing, string trimming, edging along walks and drives, and hauling the clippings off so nothing is left to bleach on the turf. What stays behind is a yard that reads finished from the street: lines laid straight, borders cut sharp, the whole thing glowing when the evening light comes back off the mountain.
