Shades of Green

About Shades of Green

Every yard holds more greens than you would think — fern green, moss green, the near-black green of the big trees — and Shades of Green tends the brightest layer of all: the lawns. Under a pearl-gray sky, a well-cut yard reads like a patch of light, and that is the standard the work aims for. Mowing, edging, trimming, seasonal cleanup — each visit sorts the tangle back into order and lets the grass show its color. The yard supplies the palette; the job is keeping every shade in its place.
