About Gary Krause Landscaping and Design

East of town the road climbs toward the Greensprings and Emigrant Lake drops low and blue in the heat, and the wind that comes back down that grade in late summer carries dust and the smell of dry oak. Gary Krause Landscaping and Design works the lawns underneath it — mowing, edging, trimming, and keeping cleanup ahead of everything that wind delivers. Ashland asks a lot of turf in August and gives it back in October, and lawn care here is largely the patience to hold a yard steady between those two facts. What makes it worth showing up for is a lawn with a definite border, an even cut, and nothing left scattered across the walk. Week to week, that is the shape of the job.
