About Kelly-Field Lawncare & More LLC

Spring rain moves across Polk County in bands, and from a yard in Independence you can watch it come up the farm road from the direction of Buena Vista, ten minutes out and closing. Kelly-Field Lawncare & More LLC learns to work between those bands, mowing when the turf is dry enough to cut cleanly and coming back rather than tearing wet ground. Edging, trimming and hauling the clippings finish each visit, so the lawn is left tight rather than merely shortened. Grass in this river valley wants to grow all season long, and the answer is a rhythm it can be held to. When the sun breaks back through and the whole block steams, a fresh-cut yard is about the best thing to look at.
