About McLean's Core Services
Some February mornings the fog lies on Grants Pass like a lid, and you have to climb toward Cathedral Hills to find any sun at all. McLean's Core Services is out underneath it, because a wet dormant stretch is when a lawn earns its spring — leaves lifted off the crown, matted grass opened up, edges recut where the winter blurred them. Josephine County rain is patient rather than dramatic, and the work fits itself into the breaks between showers. Nothing looks showy in that light, but come the first warm week the difference is unmistakable in the yards that got the attention. Doing the plain thing in the plain season is most of the job.
