LUIS & ALLEN HIGH CALIBER YARD CARE

About LUIS & ALLEN HIGH CALIBER YARD CARE

October in Freewater announces itself in the poplars — the windbreak rows go gold overnight, then start letting go all at once. LUIS & ALLEN HIGH CALIBER YARD CARE spends those weeks raking and blowing leaves out from under the hedges and off the walks, taking the season's last cuts a little lower, and bringing the shrubs back into shape before the cold settles into the low ground. Between the orchards and the wheat hills there is a great deal of open sky above this town, and a great deal of weather that arrives out of it. A yard that has been cleared, trimmed and put in order handles all of that better, and looks better doing it. There is real satisfaction in the final pass of the year, when the beds are bare, the grass lies even, and the driveway is swept down to plain pavement.
