About Mason Prociw Landscape LLC

January on this coast is rain with the volume left on — days of it, the kind that fills Cleawox Lake to the tree line and turns every low corner of a lawn into standing water. Mason Prociw Landscape LLC works straight through it, because winter is when drainage problems, matted turf and choked beds make themselves known. The season's tasks are unglamorous and worth doing: clearing sodden leaves, cutting back the collapsed growth, aerating compacted ground, and getting beds edged before spring arrives all at once in March. Come the first dry week the difference shows — turf that dries out instead of souring, borders that hold their shape. It is groundwork done in bad weather so the good weather has something to show off.
