About Laurel Bay Gardens Inc

Out toward Heceta Beach the yards begin where the dune grass ends, and everything planted there has agreed to live with sand blowing through it. Laurel Bay Gardens Inc tends those lawns and beds — cutting turf that runs right up to the beachgrass, weeding borders by hand, and mulching so the roots keep their footing when the wind gets ideas. Beds here reward patience: the mild air lets things bloom long past when they should, provided somebody keeps the crowding down and the edges honest. Mowing, trimming, and a thorough sweep round out a visit, sand off the pavers, clippings off the deck. What's left is a garden that looks deliberate against a very undeliberate horizon.
