Farmer's Tan Services

About Farmer's Tan Services

August is the coast's short reward: the marine layer pulls back, the dunes south of town go bright as bone, and Florence gets its handful of blue afternoons. Farmer's Tan Services spends them outside, mowing and edging while the grass is finally dry enough to cut clean and throw a proper stripe. The name is the job description — sleeves up, mower running, the tan line to prove where the day went. Beyond the cutting there is fertilization to keep color through the dry weeks, weed control before anything sets seed, and a full sweep of drives and walks so the sand stays where it belongs. When the fog rolls back in that evening, the yard is already squared away and waiting for it.
