About Deep Roots Land LLC

Follow the Siuslaw east of Florence and the ocean lets go of the river: the water flattens into tidewater, alders lean over the bank, and the yards under them stay soft and green nearly all year. Deep Roots Land LLC keeps that ground in order — mowing the river-bottom lawns, cutting back the growth that wants to reclaim a fence line, and hauling the season's litter out of the beds. Ground this wet asks for aeration and honest overseeding rather than shortcuts, and the reward is turf that stands up instead of matting down under the rain. There is a particular satisfaction in the last pass of an afternoon, when the trimmer line has followed every curve of the bank and the boundary between lawn and wild reads clean. It is quiet work on a quiet stretch of water, and the result speaks plainly.
