About Thompson Landscape Company

Eugene wakes under river fog, and the low ground below Skinner Butte holds onto it until the sun finally works through. Thompson Landscape Company does lawn care and landscape maintenance in that early hour, mowing, edging and trimming yards from the north-bank streets out toward Santa Clara. Spring in the Willamette Valley asks a lot of a lawn — rain that will not quit, growth that doubles overnight — and the answer is simply showing up on schedule, week after week. There is real satisfaction in the last pass of the mower, when the stripes line up and the edge along the front walk runs clean and straight. Beds get weeded, shrubs get shaped, and the clippings and prunings leave with the truck. By the time the fog lifts off the Willamette, the yard looks like someone loves it.
