About Northwest Naturescapes

West of town, Marys Peak holds the last of the afternoon light long after Corvallis has gone blue, and that is the hour when a freshly cut lawn looks most alive. Northwest Naturescapes works the long green calendar of the Willamette Valley — the rain-fed rush of March, the slow gold of an August that forgets how to be wet. Mowing, edging, string trimming, and seasonal cleanups are the whole of the trade here, done so a yard reads even from the sidewalk and sharp at every bed line. There is a real satisfaction in a lawn that looks settled, like it belongs to the hills standing behind it. This town has a thousand small yards tucked under Douglas fir, and each one deserves a straight edge.
