Twice a day the water slides out of Coalbank Slough and leaves the mudflats shining, and the lawns on the bank above keep growing regardless. Agri-Tech Design works those Eastside yards on a steady rotation — mowing, cutting the edges back to bare concrete, running the trimmer around fence posts and mailbox stands where a mower deck can't reach. Coos Bay hands grass a long season and plenty of rain to drink, so the job is rhythm more than rescue. There is a particular satisfaction in stepping back at the end of a lot and finding the passes lying straight all the way to the property line. Yards in town, out in Fairview and up the valley toward Coquille all get the same pass.
