About Green Maple Landscape Maintenance LLC

There is a week in October when the big-leaf maples along Johnson Creek let go all at once, and every lawn in northwest Clackamas County disappears under gold. Green Maple Landscape Maintenance LLC spends it clearing — raking out corners, hauling the piles, opening the turf back up to whatever light November still has to offer. The mowing does not stop either; grass in this valley keeps growing quietly through the gray months, so the deck comes back down and the edges are kept honest along driveways printed with wet leaves. It is unglamorous work, and it is the difference between a yard that drowns and a yard that comes back green in February. Rolling past the Springwater Corridor at the end of a route, bins full and the last property swept, has its own plain kind of reward.
