About Applegate Lawn Services LLC

In Carlton the day often begins under a low lid of valley fog, the vineyard rows west of town showing up slowly, one at a time, as the sun works through it. Applegate Lawn Services LLC is a lawn care business that likes that hour — grass still heavy with damp, the mower leaving a clean dark stripe behind it. Mowing, edging and trimming here come down to giving a yard the same order the hills above it already have, row after tidy row. By the time the fog lifts off the Yamhill County flats, a lawn can look like somebody thought about it. Seasonal cleanups carry that through the rest of the year, and the line along the walk stays where it was drawn.
