Smith's Lawn Care

About Smith's Lawn Care

The bridge over the Chetco carries the first traffic of the morning between Brookings and Harbor, and by then the mower is usually already off the trailer. Smith's Lawn Care runs early, cutting while the air is cool and the grass parts clean, then edging and trimming its way toward the heat of the day. Both sides of the river grow lawn the same way — fast, green and indifferent to anyone's calendar — so the schedule does most of the heavy lifting. Yard cleanup rounds out the visit, leaving nothing in the beds or on the walk. There is a quiet reward in leaving a street tidier than you found it.
