Cutting Edge Lawn Works

About Cutting Edge Lawn Works

From the top of Pilot Butte at first light, Bend reads as a grid of green squares set into juniper and lava rock — and every one of them is somebody's work. Cutting Edge Lawn Works is out under that same early sun, mowing in straight passes, edging drives and walkways to a clean line, trimming the corners a mower cannot reach. The season here is short and bright: grass wakes late, grows hard through July, and wants feeding, aerating and overseeding at the right week rather than whenever. Weeds get handled before they seed, and the sidewalks get blown clear at the end. By the time the butte's shadow slides east across town, the route is finished and the lines are still holding.
