Luxury Lawns

About Luxury Lawns

June evenings run long on the north edge of Beaverton, where the streets above Rock Creek stay bright past nine and the lawns still look wet at ten. Luxury Lawns works into that light, laying mowing stripes that run the length of a yard and turn silver when you look back down them from the porch. Each stop takes edging along the drive, trimming around the plantings, and a blow-down that leaves the concrete as clean as the grass. This corner of the Tualatin Valley grows turf easily and thickly, so the craft is in the finish rather than the effort. A striped lawn under late Oregon light is worth stopping to look at, and that is exactly the point.
