A Fresh Cut LLC

About A Fresh Cut LLC

Saturday in Beaverton starts on Hall Boulevard, where the street gives itself over to berry flats, cut dahlias and the smell of hot peaches. A Fresh Cut LLC is usually done with two lawns by the time the first market awning goes up, mowing in the cool part of a July morning while the valley still has some give in it. The work is mowing, edging, trimming and hauling the clippings off, and the finish is plain to see from the sidewalk: a lawn all one height, all one direction, hemmed tight where it meets concrete. Midsummer here asks for patience, since the rain quits and the grass slows and the trick is cutting to suit it. Afternoons the crew heads back out toward Tigard and Aloha, and the yards behind them hold their shape all week.
