Miz Fix It All

About Miz Fix It All

Evening turns Highway 101 through Bay City into a ribbon of tail lights, and behind it the yards go quiet and blue. Miz Fix It All takes care of those lawns — regular mowing, string trimming along fences and foundations, edges cut true, clippings cleared off the drive. Grass on this piece of the Oregon coast holds its color deep into winter, so the work never really stops, it only slows. There is a particular pleasure in a small yard done thoroughly: the mailbox post trimmed around, the strip by the sidewalk squared off, nothing left ragged. In a town you can walk end to end, one tidy lawn lifts the look of the whole street.
