About Hynek Landscaping

March in Baker City is meltwater and mud — the Sumpter Valley road still white while downtown drips all afternoon and the gutters run. Hynek Landscaping reads that turn closely, because the first cut of the season sets the tone for every one that follows it. The work is mowing, edging, string trimming and the cleanups that clear away whatever winter piled into the corners. Done properly, a yard comes out of the thaw looking as though it never left off. Baker City and the valley around it — Haines, Sumpter, the Bridgeport road — make up the week.
