About Earl’s Yard Services
Saturday morning in Quiet Village: sprinklers ticking, somebody's dog barking at nothing, and the sound of a mower two streets over working its way toward you. Earl's Yard Services is that sound. Straight passes across the front, the trimmer run around the birch and the porch steps, an edge cut along the drive sharp enough to see from the corner. Ashland yards run small and personal, hemmed in by old fences and older trees, and they reward somebody willing to slow down for the corners. By noon the clippings are gone and the street looks like a place where people take care of things.
