About Sunset Gardens Landscaping

June dusk in Albany runs well past nine o'clock, and the light comes in flat and orange over the Coast Range to lie along the west-facing yards. Sunset Gardens Landscaping does much of its work in that stretched-out hour — mowing, edging, trimming, keeping beds weeded and borders defined so the long shadows fall across something clean. A lawn cut in the late afternoon has a nap to it, a direction, and it shows most when the sun is low. Spring and fall bring the heavier rounds: aeration, overseeding, cleanups carted away. What holds the whole thing together is the plain weekly return, yard after yard, right through the season.
