About A&S Landscaping & Hardscape – Salem

Stone holds the day's heat long after the sun drops behind the Coast Range, and a Salem patio in late August is a fine place to be standing. A&S Landscaping & Hardscape works both halves of a yard: the living side — mowing, trimming, bed care, pruning and mulch — and the built side, with pavers, walkways, retaining walls and borders that give a lawn its shape. Around Pringle Creek and the older blocks south of downtown the ground rolls just enough that a well-set wall earns its keep. There is a particular moment when a run of pavers finally goes true and the grass gets its boundary back. From there the mowing is easy, and the yard stays legible all year.
