About Eversole Lawn Care LLC

Out at Yale the wind is a constant. It crosses the Payne County wheat ground, rattles through the blackjack and post oak of the Cross Timbers, and dries a fresh-cut lawn almost before the mower is loaded. Eversole Lawn Care LLC works that country with mowing, edging, string trimming and seasonal cleanups, on the red-dirt town lots and on the wider acreages running north toward the Cimarron. Summer here asks a great deal of a lawn — long heat, hard light, a July afternoon that seems to hum — so the cut is left tall enough to hold its color and the lines are laid straight enough to read from Highway 51. Fall means leaves and one last tidying before the first blue norther, and spring means everything coming up at once. Yale, Stillwater, Cushing, Ripley, Glencoe: the aim never changes, a yard that looks looked-after from the mailbox in.
