Sanderson Scapes

About Sanderson Scapes

This is Chisholm Trail country — Beaver Creek winding through low hills, the old crossing up at Waurika, and a sky that turns from clear to green-black in twenty minutes when spring storms come up out of Texas. Sanderson Scapes keeps lawns cut and kept across southern Jefferson County, working around that weather and the wind that follows it. The day after a storm starts with cleanup: limbs off the grass, drifted leaves out of the corners, then the mow itself, trimmed to the posts and run out along the drive. Bermuda here answers rain like it has been waiting all year, and it needs cutting on its own schedule rather than anyone else's. Getting it done, and done evenly, is what makes a place look settled again.
