On a clear morning the Wichita granite shows blue on the horizon north of Walters, and the roadsides run with Indian blanket into June. Horse Sense Graphics mows the lawns in town under that view — cutting, edging the walk, going in close around trees and posts, and leaving the drive bare when the work is finished. Southwest Oklahoma sun is direct and unforgiving, so the grass is left a little taller and the cut stays regular. A yard held to that rhythm keeps its color deep into the summer. It is a small thing that changes how a whole block looks.
