About D and D Lawn Care

Out toward Fort Gibson Lake the wind comes off open water and makes an August afternoon almost fair, and the yards along those roads run down through the shoreline brush toward the light on the water. D and D Lawn Care keeps the lake places and the in-town lots alike — mowing on a schedule, trimming around fence posts and boat trailers, edges recut so the gravel and the grass quit arguing. Weekends out here belong to the water, which is exactly why the mowing should already be done by then. When fall drops the leaves along the coves, the raking and hauling follow, and the ground goes into winter clean. A place that looks looked-after is a small kindness to everybody who drives past it.
