About Billy's Lawn Care LLC

In Vian the Cookson Hills come down easy toward the bottomland, and the summer arrives green, loud and quick — grass answering a Sequoyah County rain within a day, blackberry canes thickening along the fence rows. Billy's Lawn Care LLC works those yards through the long heat, when the shade runs out by ten in the morning and the mower has to make its own weather. The work is mowing, trimming and edging, done all the way to the corners, with the concrete blown clear before the trailer ramp goes up. Come October the pin oaks let loose and the job turns to raking and hauling, handing a yard back opened up and breathing. Out here on the roads that run toward the river and the refuge, a lot that looks cared for says something, and it is worth the whole day to say it well.
