McWhorter Tree Service

About McWhorter Tree Service

Pennington Creek runs clear through Tishomingo past the granite of the old Chickasaw capitol, and out where town gives way to pasture the pecans stand in long rows. McWhorter Tree Service works those Johnston County yards and groves, where a pecan carries more weight than it looks like and a spring storm finds the weak union every time. Trimming takes that risk out early — dead wood down, crossing limbs gone, the crown opened so wind and light both move through. Pruning shapes the young ones so they can hold their own crop and their own weather. When a line of storms comes up from the Red River country and fills a yard with wood, the cleanup ends with the brush gone and the rows standing clear again.
