Shorty’s lawn and tree service

About Shorty’s lawn and tree service

Ice is the thing that reshapes a town's trees in this part of Oklahoma. When a freeze glazes Tecumseh overnight, morning arrives with limbs down across the drives and a hackberry leaning where it has no business leaning. Shorty's lawn and tree service takes both halves of that — tree work when the weather decides otherwise, and mowing, edging and trimming week to week once the ground greens up again. Post oaks around here grow slow and stubborn, and taking a limb out of one is a matter of the right cut in the right place. Clear the drive, rake the yard, run the mower, and by afternoon a place that looked wrecked looks like nothing ever happened.
