About Husong Lawn & Property Care LLC

By noon in July the air over the Barren Fork sits heavy and still, and the cicadas take over the hickories east of Tahlequah. Husong Lawn & Property Care works straight through it — mowing, edging, string trimming, and the general upkeep that keeps a place from getting away from its owner. An Oklahoma summer will brown a lawn in a fortnight if it is scalped, so the deck rides high and the clippings feed the roots back. There is pride in a yard that stays green while the creek runs low and the pastures go tan. Come the first cool snap, those same yards get their leaves cleared and their edges reset for the year ahead.
