Wilkins Lawn & Landscape

About Wilkins Lawn & Landscape

Travertine Creek runs cold out of the springs at the edge of Sulphur and keeps its sycamores green while the rest of Murray County is asking for rain. Wilkins Lawn & Landscape mows and maintains yards around town and out toward the Lake of the Arbuckles, where limestone sits close under the grass and a single lawn can be half full sun, half deep shade. That split is handled with height and pattern — a little more blade under the trees, tighter passes in the open — plus trimming along the rock walls this country puts everywhere. Walks and drives are edged and cleared so the stone and the concrete stand out again. On a summer evening, with the hills going blue past Bromide Hill, a cut lawn under those sycamores is a fine place to sit.
