About Smock Lawn Services

The first real cold snap reaches northwest Pontotoc sometime in November, and overnight the yards turn tan while the leaves let go all at once. Smock Lawn Services is there for that turn — final cuts taken low, leaves and cuttings carried off the lawn and the walks, edges tidied before winter locks everything down. Through the growing months the rhythm is steadier: mow, edge, trim, clear up, come back next week. The roads north toward Francis are quiet in the early hours, which makes for a fine time to be working. There is a particular satisfaction in the last mow of the year, a yard closed out square and clean.
