About J & J Lawn Care

Stratford runs on peaches in July — the orchards heavy with them, Highway 19 busy with people coming for a box, and all of Garvin County smelling like summer. J & J Lawn Care works the yards in between: mowing on a weekly turn through the cross timbers' sandy soil and blackjack oak shade, trimming around trunks and porch piers, edging drives back to a clean line. South-central Oklahoma heat can scorch a lawn brown by August, so the cut goes higher and the pass goes slower when the weather asks for it. Walks blown clear, clippings gathered, everything left looking finished rather than merely shortened. A Stratford yard mowed well on a hot Friday afternoon is a small good thing.
